Bitker Colette

Colette Bitker is a Frech painter born in Paris in 1929. She created paintings that are part of the collection of the "Koninklijke Musea voor Schone kunsten van België". She studied graphic arts at the "Ecole Nationale Supériere des Beaux-Arts" in Paris. In 1956 she settled in Brussels. Her compositions, which usually include different characters, breathe sensitivity, poetry, symbolism and sometimes also a certain sadness. (PIRON). Many participations in group exhibitions in France, Belgium, Holland and the United States. The works of Colette Bitker are presented in the collections of the Belgian State, at the Museums of Modern Art in Brussels and Liège, in the collections of Banque Lambert and the National Bank of Belgium and in many private collections in France, Belgium, the United States, Switzerland, Spain and Italy.
