Coenegracht Jean-Claude

Jean-Claude Coenegracht is a Belgian painter, draftsman, and engraver, born in Liège in 1948. As a painter, he has a preference for subjects or scenes bordering on the fantastical and for allegories. His inspiration is primarily Italian, as evidenced by the series in our collection dedicated to the famous horse race, the "Palio", which takes place annually in Piazza San Marco in Siena.
