Pinet Charles
Charles Pinet was a French artist who was born in Paris in 1867 and who died there in 1932. He was an etcher, painter and engraver (printmaker). Pupil of Gustave Moreau. He participated in the salons of the Artistes Français, of which he had been a member since 1905. Honorable mention in 1898, silver medal in 1900 (World Fair), third class medal in 1908, silver medal in 1914, gold medal in 1927. Source: Bénézit.
