Kesteloot Caroline
Caroline Kesteloot a Ghent artist. She is a visual artist in all silence. In 2009 her collages around Hugo Claus provided a wow feeling. In 2010, reporter-photographer Dominique Dierick made the photo series “Gentse Madammen”. This series was about twelve women, of which Caroline Kesteloot was a part. (Het Nieuwsblad, June 2010).
Ghent Madams. That is the simplest title we could think of for the photo series of twelve women that reporter-photographer Dominique Dierick made for De Gentenaar last year, in between his other reporting work. Caroline Kesteloot is a visual artist in silence. Her collages around Hugo Claus gave us an absolute wow feeling last year. She has never gone public with her work, but is now looking for a spacious exhibition space to do so - and if possible also a studio, as she recently had to leave hers.
