Boonaert Raymond

Raymond Boonaert is a Belgian artist, born in Oudenaarde-Eine in 1944. He is a painter and draftsman. He is the brother of Paul Booonaert. He followed his education at the Academy in Oudenaarde. From the press: 'His landscapes exude tranquility and peace. Besides being Flemish in character, his art is strongly reminiscent of the work of Valerius De Saedeleer. The shape and fullness of color are striking, sometimes somewhat leaning towards impressionism.' (Piron)
