Bertoletti Bernard

Bernard Pierre Alfred Bertoletti was a French artist who was born in Salviac (Lot) in 1876. He painted figures, portraits and murals. A student of Léon Bonnat, Barrias and Fernand Humbert at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Bertoletti exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1900-1925, became a member in 1904 (when he was also praised by the jury) and won a silver medal in 1914. He was a laureate of the Institut de France and winner of the Prix Maillé-Latour-Landry. He was commissioned to make a number of decorative walls. Museum of Périgueux: Portrait of F.
