This armchair is primarily in the Jugendstil/Art Nouveau style (c. 1900–1915), with clear Louis XV/Rococo influences.

The style is characterized by an organically undulating backrest, slightly curved armrests, and gracefully curved, tapering legs. The form is less geometric and streamlined than Art Deco; instead, the emphasis is on soft, natural lines. The simple wooden construction, paired with green upholstery, is consistent with a restrained, late-period Jugendstil design.
