
Beeldens Albert
Albert Beeldens was a Belgian painter, born in Brussels in 1900 and died there in 1962. He employed a Naïve style in his artwork. He painted cityscapes, still lifes, and flowers. In 1935, he won the Grand Prix de l’Art Populaire en Belgique. He exhibited in 1956 at the Theater of Toone in Brussels under the theme "Les Marolles Exposent," alongside Jef Bourgeois, Piet Volckaert, Désiré Naeyaert, and Désiré Haine. Albert Beeldens is listed in Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists. (Piron)
