Peggie “Batia” Lowenberg (New York 1954 - ) Batia was born and raised in New York City. She later moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, where she lived for 19 years before settling in her current hometown of Boca Raton, Florida. Batia’s abstract paintings are bursting with energy and cheerful colors. While the work reflects a clear intention, viewers are particularly struck by its cheerful and festive atmosphere.
