Schilderijen kopen van de Belgische kunstschilder Aubin Pasque

Pasque Aubin

Aubin Pasque was a Belgian artist who was born in 1903 in Cheratte near Liège and who died in 1981 in Ixelles. He was a painter, monotype designer and illustrator. Education at the Academy in Liège. Settled in Brussels in 1921 and attended evening courses at the Academy there. He leaned towards fantasy and was the standard-bearer of magical realism. Debuted with landscapes from the Ardennes, Spain and Dalmatia and still lifes, leaning towards post-Cubism. Evolved soon into the fantasy with figures, compositions from the imagination, among other things. He was attracted to esotericism from an early age and, in addition to the concern for design, gave his art an intellectual content, which showed his interest in Hermeticism, Symbolism, Occultism or Alchemy. Also sometimes worked between figuration and abstraction with allusions to the mineral and vegetal structures. Sophisticated colorist. In 1958, he founded the Group and magazine Fantasmagie (1959-2979), to which he devoted himself for twenty years, and of the Center International de l'Actualité Fantastique et Magique (CIAFMA). Mentioned in BAS I and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists. (piron)
