
Asperslagh Louis
Lou Asperslagh or Louis Franciscus Asperslagh was a Dutch artist who was born in 1893 in The Hague and died in 1949 in Leuven. He completed his education at the Academy of Fine Arts (The Hague). He was the brother of Henk Asperslagh and the uncle of Marijke Asperslagh. He was a graphic artist, glass painter, painter, draftsman and etcher. From 1933 he worked and lived in Heverlee and afterwards in Linden. He is mainly known for his Christian religious depictions. (RKD)
