Andreae Bert

Bert Andreae is a Dutch artist, born in Emmen/Netherlands in 1952. He is a visual artist, illustrator and draftsman. He trained at the Minerva Academy in Groningen (1969-1974). His subjects are mainly landscapes and symbolist subjects. He was co-founder of the MES art space in Groningen, editor of the magazine De Essayhaas and is affiliated with the Graphic Center Groningen as a lithography teacher. He works as a medical nurse at various healthcare institutions. As an illustrator he makes illustrations for various magazines and book publications. We find work by Bert Andreae, among others, in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. (BT)
