Colpin André

André Colpin is a Belgian artist born in Ixelles in 1939. He is a draftsman, graphic artist and painter. He finds his inspiration in lost corners, labyrinths, social life and his everyday environment. He produces both personal work and etched copies of works by other painters. In the 1980s he ran a graphic initiation studio in Uccle, later also in the Sablon district in Brussels. He settled in Campsegret/France, where he creates landscapes, rural views, still lifes, figures and interiors as a painter. These works breathe light, color and poetry.
