Van Belleghem Aimé
Aimé Van Belleghem was a Belgian artist who was born in 1922 in Beernem and who died in 1996 in Bruges. He was a painter. Self-taught. Son of Jos Van Belleghem. He mainly painted portraits (Bruges figures, notables) and surrealistic compositions. His works were finely finished in glacis technique. Painted the portraits of, among others, the police judge Van Poucke, Achiel Van Acker. Work purchased by the State in 1966.
