Aerens Charles
Charles Polydore Aerens-Campens was a Belgian artist, born in Ghent in 1858. He was a painter and decorative artist, best known for his landscapes. In 1907 he settled in Kortrijk. He took part in the Salons in Ghent, including in 1883 with View of Gentbrugge. He is mentioned in the Lexicon of East Flemish Painters and Sculptors 1700-1940 (Daniël Van Ryssel, 2008) and in Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists. (Piron)
