Lammens Achille

Achille Lammens was a Belgian artist who was born in 1888 in Ghent and died in 1969 in Heusden. Self-taught painter. Lived very withdrawn. Realized landscapes, among other things, mostly small size. Leaned towards expressionism. Stayed and worked in Sint-Martens-Latem during and shortly after the Second World War.
