Messely Paul
Paul Messely was a Belgian painter, born in 1927. He was the great example for his son Johan Messely. In 1977 he made a Portrait of Andreas (André) Dequae, President of the Chamber from 1974 to 1977. From the press: “The artist Paul Messely (°1927) is decidedly romantic and kitschy, but commercial. Paul Messely was active as a painter, draftsman and photographer. He mainly painted women, landscapes and flowers.” (Knack, 2014) (BT)
