Lane Mildred Allen
Mildred Allen Lane was an American painter, born in 1938 in Trenton and died in 2010 in Washington. She was a multimedia artist in glass fusion, oils, watercolors, acrylic paint, inks, mixed media and collage, mainly in landscapes. She painted her entire life in various media, but especially since 1970. She loved to paint plein air in watercolors, so that she could feel what she was painting. She loved experimenting and said, "It's just a piece of paper or canvas!" She has received many awards for her paintings and wood sculptures. (Memorial Service)
