Jamin Léon
Léon Jamin was a Belgian artist who was born in Liège in 1872 and who died in 1944. He was a painter. Realized portraits, landscapes, village scenes, religious subjects and still lifes. Often worked in the Ardennes and the Kempen. Collaborated regularly with his brother Emile Jamin. Murals in chapels and churches in Saint-Jean-Sart, Avennes, Richelle, Wegnez, Aubel. Also decorated retables and altars. Exhibited with the Cercle des Beaux-Arts in Liège from 1912 to 1942. Work in the Musée de l'Art Wallon in Liège (Ardennes village).
