Leytens Frères was an Antwerp furniture house (interior decorators) that was founded in 1868. In the 1920s they specialized in art deco furniture, often unique furniture (1-pièce).
The company received 2 gold medals for their designs at the World Exhibition in Antwerp in 1894 and an honorable mention at the World Exhibition for the Hotel and Travel Industry in Amsterdam in 1895. In 1930 it had the vice-chairmanship of the furniture department at the World Exhibition in Antwerp. In addition to developing furniture, they also designed complete rooms and houses as interior designers. Sometimes one comes across furniture from this furniture house at auctions (eg Veiling Bernaerts 08/06/2022 Lot 217).
