Joannes Baptist Nicolaas van Gent was a Dutch painter born in Arnhem in 1891 and died in The Hague in 1974. He signed with 'Joan B.N. v. Ghent ',' J.B.N. v. Ghent 'or with' P. Rosier '. His favorite subjects were flower still lifes and still lifes in general. (RKD)
