Victor Dieu was a Belgian artist, born in Quaregnon in 1873 and died in Mons in 1954. He was a painter, pastelist and etcher. He studied at the Academy in Mons under Danse, Motte and A. Bourlard (1890–1901), and at the Academy in Antwerp under Biot. In 1901, he won the Prix de Rome for engraving.
