Van Assche Guy

Guy Van Assche is a Belgian artist, born in Temse on May 15, 1963. He is a painter, draftsman, watercolorist, and graphic artist. He studied drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sint-Niklaas and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Additionally, he studied free graphics at the Sint-Lucas Institute in Ghent. Since 1985, he has been a drawing teacher at the City Academy of Sint-Niklaas. Besides his teaching duties, he works as an independent painter, graphic artist, and sculptor.  Guy Van Assche creates landscapes, nature scenes, nudes, portraits, and still lifes. He has exhibited in Antwerp, Sint-Niklaas, Hamme, Temse, and Hasselt. Together with his wife Veerle, he lives in Wellen, where his studio is also located. (Piron, BT)
