From the press: “L.R. paints peace and asceticism and he does this almost monochrome (white on white). He builds up an intimate world with a minimum of material and reproduces it in static compositions. Soft, often translucent in color, dream shapes grow from near-white backgrounds; meditative still lifes and other creations. ”Mentioned in BAS II and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists.
