Charles-Louis La Salle is a French painter and sculptor, born in 1938 in Hanoi (Vietnam). He spent his childhood in Indochina and his adolescence in Africa. At the age of 18, he went to Paris. Charles-Louis La Salle was discovered in 1977 by Louis Aragon. In 1966, he settled in Provence. Influences of Burgundian sculptures, Flemish primitives and the giants of the Italian Renaissance.
