Noltee Cor
Cor Noltee was a Dutch painter who was born in 1903 and died in 1967. He was a student at the Hague Academy of Fine Arts. After his studies he traveled through the Netherlands as a painter and also worked in Bruges and Paris. Because he had a kinship in his subjects and style with Breitner and painted many cityscapes in Dordrecht, he was called 'the Dordrecht Breinter'. Later, Cor Noltee increasingly developed his own style and his work became more clear and expressive in color. In his final years, Noltee comes to his own expressionism, which highlights the painter's oeuvre. (Kunstveiling.be)
