The painter Peter Brouwer was born in 1935 and died in 2010. He lived and worked in Utrecht and received his training at the Evening Academy. He was a student of John Bevort, Laurens Tuinman, Cor van Diggelen and Henk Bellaard, a teacher at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. His uncle P. Brouwer also provided his training. His paintings take the viewer on a journey through the fantasy world of Peter Brouwer, a world where Peter does not keep his eyes in his pocket and is inspired by his surroundings and events. It is not only the reflection of reality, but also his interpretation of color and atmosphere.
